Qatar Visa Application Requirements

 

Thera are the important Qatar visa application requirements for different visa types:

🎓 1. Student Visa (Education Residence Permit)

Purpose: Long-term study in Qatar

Key Requirements:

• Valid passport (6+ months)

• Acceptance letter from a Qatari university

• Completed visa application form

• Passport-size photo

• Proof of financial support or sponsorship

• Police clearance certificate

• Medical test (done in Qatar after arrival)

• Visa fee payment

• Proof of financial means (bank statements,  letter)

• Application usually submitted by the educational institution

💼 2. Business Visa (Short-Term)

Purpose: Meetings, events, or business-related visits (valid for up to 90 days)

Key Requirements:

• Valid passport

• Completed visa application form

• Invitation letter from Qatari company or sponsor

• Company documents (if applicable)

• Hotel reservation and return flight

• Recent passport photo

• Visa fee payment

• Proof of financial means (bank statements, employer letter)

• Others visa approved with stamps

✈️ 3. Visitor / Tourist Visa

Purpose: Tourism or visiting friends/family

​

Key Requirements:

• Valid passport (6+ months)

• Completed online visa application 

• Hotel booking or invitation from host in Qatar

• Return flight ticket

• Passport-size photo

• Travel insurance (recommended)

• Visa fee payment

• Proof of financial means (bank statements, employer letter)

• Others visa approved with stamps

Note: Nationals from 95+ countries are eligible for visa-free entry or visa on arrival for 30–90 days

🛠️ 4. Qatar Work Permit (Work Visa + Residency Permit)

Purpose: Employment in Qatar (long-term)

Key Requirements:

• Valid passport

• Job offer in terms on work permit and employment contract from a Qatar company

• Biometric data (fingerprints)

• Police clearance certificate (Criminal Record)

• Proof of financial means (bank statements, employer letter)

📝 Notes for All Applicants:

• All foreign documents may need English or Arabic translation

• Visa applications are submitted via the Ministry of Interior Portal

• Most visas require a local sponsor or host in Qatar
